Software Visualisation

_status:
Academy project developed during my
exchange semester at the HGKZ, Zürich.
Design supervision: doc. Jürgen Späth.

_about:
Lines of code are just symbols. Thus our
perception of code in a certain moment
is limited to seeing and understanding
only small-scale parts such as functions.
From this perspective reading and evalu-
ation of bigger and more complex parts
of software is a long and erratic process.

This was the reason for developing
a graphic tool for software development
and diagnosis which enables to perceive
code key properties such as:
• average code complexity (avc),
• code length (loc),
• bug risk,
• % of code with detected faults,
• % of updated code, etc.
The fractal-like design of my application
enables it to render software system of
any architecture or complexity.
